Here is the lovely Ben Shepard on GMTV this morning, bigging up my home town 🙂
Of course it is no surprise that he doesn’t know where Mexborough is, but its nice that he thinks it sounds great, if only he knew!
Jeepers, must update more often 🙂
Anywho’s or something, an event in my life has made it into blog life.
This morning I was posting to 12 seconds as you can see below. I mentioned that the boiler fix cost 250 quids, the car servicing another 180 quids and the light bulb in the fire turned out to be 9 quids. I was asking if anything could cost me any more this weekend. I supposed not, watch the video.
Shortly after making this video I went to the spare room to find that the wardrobe clothes rail thingy had snapped. So loads of creased clothes to sort out. Hmmmmmm…..
So thats the (hopefully) the final thing to go wrong this weekend.
Fingers crossed 🙂
The Internet is wonderful isnt it? I was able to order the part I needed and save myself a big bill for repair or replacement of my phone.
The video down there is me showing off the broken ribbon cable alongside the working phone. I wish I’d taken some photos of me stripping the phone down. Twas fairly straightforward and learning as you guess what to do next is always fun 🙂
The best thing? It only cost me 4 quid!
I *heart* the “net” I really do.
Seriously, I’m so lazy sometimes. You can just make out a hard drive hanging out of the open case, which I might admit has been open like that for 2 weeks.
The drive itself was bought 1 year ago (I know!) and I only just got around to installing it when another drive informed me it was going to fail soon.
So after 2 weeks of looking at the bits hanging out, I’ve finally sorted them.
Go me! Errr, yeah right 😉
The simplest things are still the most amusing, this had me captivated for at least 5 minutes!
What do you call these things??
Remember the 80’s Bow Wow Wow (The future of pop, ooops no they weren’t) and their single “I want candy?” At the time the shaved headed 14 year old girl was a bit shocking but the Internet has changed everything, what do you make of this?
“Yeah, a candy penis!”
Still hungry for more, maybe its like car crash TV, you cant tear your eyes away?
At least they are not out on the streets spitting on grannies and kicking dogs and stuff!
You must see this, imagine that singing Buffy episode with more humour and Doogie Howser!
